How do I reserve a visit for my group?
Please fill out this form to request a group visit. A representative from The Broad will contact you within a week to confirm your reservation and take payment for your group. We require payment in full at the time of reservation.
Can I visit the museum anytime with my group?
The Broad is open every day except Mondays, and you may request a self-guided group visit anytime during normal operating hours. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of your visit date.
Does the self-guided group visit include access to special exhibitions?
The $5/ person self-guided group visit does not include access to paid special exhibitions on view. Additional fees apply.
When is the best time of day to plan our visit?
The Broad opens at 11 a.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. on weekends. We recommend visiting on weekdays if possible, or arriving before 11 a.m. on Saturdays or Sundays.
Do I need to contact The Broad if the number in my group changes?
Yes. If your group is larger than originally booked, email groups@thebroad.org with your group name and how many additional tickets you need. Your additional tickets will be charged at check-in on the day of your visit. Please keep in mind that groups larger than 50 people will be accommodated based on availability and may need to be split into adjacent time slots.
Is The Broad wheelchair accessible?
All gallery spaces and facilities are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis and can be checked out in the lobby by leaving a driver’s license or other form of valid identification.
Are private tours available for my group?
Yes. Please indicate the type of visit you would like to book when filling out the request form. If you have any questions, please email groups@thebroad.org.
Can I give my own tour to my group?
The Broad does not allow visitors to lecture or lead groups in the galleries.
Can I pay with a purchase order?
Payment must be completed by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB are accepted). We do not accept purchase orders, checks, or cash.
Will I get a refund if I need to cancel my visit?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds for any group visits.
Are there other attractions to explore along Grand Avenue?
Yes! To see more contemporary art, we recommend taking a trip to MOCA, across from The Broad on the east side of Grand Avenue (keep in mind MOCA is closed Tuesdays). If your group is interested in architecture, consider a stop at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, immediately north of The Broad, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, at the corner of Grand Avenue and Temple Street. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, consider Grand Park, just opposite the Music Center on the east side of Grand.
Where can my bus park?
We do not have parking available for vehicles over 7’2”. Buses are able to pull up in front of the museum along Grand Avenue to drop off and pick up.
What should we do when our group gets to the museum?
Your group should assemble outside the south entrance to The Broad, located adjacent to the Plaza. Your group leader can approach any Visitor Service Associate who will give a private introduction and direct your group into the building.
